Kenmore Free Store News

The Kenmore Free Store, a partnership between Park United Methodist Church and Immaculate Conception Parish, has moved and is now located in the basement of the school at Immaculate Conception.  The entrance to the store is located at the back of the school, off the parking lot; the donation bin is in the same location.  Three classrooms on the first floor are being used for storage, sorting and seasonal items.  Now instead of having to go up and down 4 flights of stairs to take items from sorting down to the store and vice versa, we only have to go 2 flights!

Store hours are Tuesdays from 4:30-7 pm and Saturdays from 9:30 am-noon.  If you would like to help with sorting, greeting, helping shoppers or check-out, please call the rectory; we’d welcome your stewardship.

Donations may be dropped in the bin, provided they fit – please do not just drop things off outside the bin and please tie up the bags before putting them in the bin.  If you have items that won’t fit in the bin or are breakable, please come into the store during store hours and let us know.  We’ll have you drive around to 16th St. and we’ll meet you there to accept your donations.

All are welcome as shoppers.  We do not need ID, address, phone numbers or any type of government papers.  We just need to know your zip code, the number of people in your household and their ages.  Come by to shop or to see the store in action.
