Generations of Faith 2017-18

Registration is underway for the 2017-18 year and the focus will be on the Eucharist.  We will be using the DVD series from Bishop Robert Barron entitled, “EUCHARIST” in which Bishop Barron examines three important aspects of this sacrament:  sacred meal, sacrifice and real presence.  Fr. Mike will also present a Teaching Mass in which we can dig deeper into what it is we do when we come to worship.  Sessions will be held in Waldeisen Hall on the first Thursday in October, December, March April and May and the second Thursday in November.  Doors open at 6:30 for fellowship and refreshment and we invite participants to bring a snack to share with others.  The program runs from 7 – 9 pm and the cost is just $10.00 per person. Would you be able to explain the Eucharist to a non-Catholic?  What is the difference between our Communion and Communion in a non-Catholic Christian Church?  Could you adequately explain to a fallen away Catholic what they are missing by not receiving the Eucharist?  We invite everyone to come, learn and grow in their Catholic faith. Registration is taking place after all Masses or, if you are not from I.C., you may call the rectory at 330-753-8429 to register.  The first session is October 5th.
