Destroyed fire hydrant

If the rectory water woes weren’t enough, someone drove through and completely destroyed the fire hydrant in front of the Free Store (old school), taking out part of the telephone pole as well. We think gremlins are afoot! That hydrant had a water meter on it provided by the city to be used by those growing plants in the Community Garden and someone even stole the meter! The hydrant and meter have been replaced, but the pole still bears its scars.

Review-Scotch Doubles Bowling

A hearty group of parishioners, family and friends headed out to Charger Lanes for a fun night of bowling on January 21st. Some were experienced bowlers, others hadn’t bowled in decades and some were bowling for the first time. Regardless of experience, Scotch Doubles has it’s challenges so sitting on the floor, helping others off the floor, standing like statues and bowling backwards were all part of the fun.

Pizza & Pumpkin Carving

Creativity abounded on Sunday, October 16th as parishioners and friends tried their hands at decorating pumpkins. Many thanks to Beth & Joe Langton and the 100th Anniversary Committee for sponsoring this fun event. Which pumpkin is your favorite?
