100th Anniversary Events

Stay tuned to this post for information and details about exciting events as we celebrate 100 years of Ministry, Service, Faith Formation and Stewardship. The committee is working hard to plan a variety of activities that will appeal to different groups of people. SO, check out the events, invite family and friends to join the fun and experience some of our I.C. Spirit!

Favorite I.C Memory: Think about your most favorite I.C. memory and write it down on the form which can be found at all doors of the church – please print. They may be turned in in the collection basket or to the rectory and will be displayed at the parish and the 100th Anniversary Dinner.

100 Days of Prayer: 100 days, 100 prayer, 100 minutes: Let’s all pray together as a family of faith! Parishioner Becky Plasity has assembled a list of 100 prayer intentions which will be distributed the second weekend in December. Beginning December 14th, 100 days before our 100th anniversary date of March 23rd, we ask you to pray for 1 minute for the intention of the day.

Christmas Cards for First Responders: Each year we put out Christmas cards for you to sign for the police officers who patrol Kenmore and for the Kenmore Fire Station. They are available on the table at the back of the church. Please sign multiple cards as there are many officers who patrol and each one gets a packet of cards; a packet also goes to the fire house. Please put your signed cards in the basket.

Bowling: Stay tuned for info on this January event.

Night at the Races: Start to talking to friends and neighbors about this event which will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023. Proceeds will help defray the Capital Improvement fund.

Fr. Mike’s Retirement Reception: A good time was had by all. Thank you to all who came to help make this such a special occasion. Thank you to Guy’s Party Center for the delicious food and festive atmosphere.
