Giving Tuesday around the nation is December 3rd. Our Diocese has created #weGIVECATHOLIC to keep charitable dollars local. The monies raised will assist our parishes, Catholic schools and Catholic organizations with various projects. We’re once again participating to raise money to renovate the space between Waldeisen Hall and the school building. The rail road ties are disintegrating and collapsing and they’ve been providing a home for bees! Also, there’s no easy way to access the upper level where the air conditioning units are. Our goal is raise funds for retaining walls, steps and landscaping to create the Fr. Michael B. Smith Memorial Garden. Go to www.wegivecatholic.org, go to “Search,” type in “Immaculate,” find our beautiful Marian window and click on our site. Donations may be made online December 3rd or during early giving which began on Saturday, November 23rd. You may also write a check to Immaculate Conception with “We Give Catholic” on the memo line and drop it off or mail it to the rectory at 2101 17th St. S.W. Akron, OH 44314.
