Prayer for Civility
In this divisive election year, this prayer from the U.S. Council of Catholic Bishops is offered:
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where uncivil words prevail, show me how to model love. Help me remember the God-given dignity of all and invite others to do the same. Show me how to build bridges and not walls and see first what unites us rather than how we diverge. Let me seek to understand before asking to be understood. Give me a listening heart filled with empathy and compassion. May I be clear in sharing my own position and respectful and civil in describing those of others. Let me never tolerate hateful ideas. May I invite all to charity and love. Lord, help me to imitate your compassion and mercy. Make me and instrument of your peace. Amen
My Daily Prayers
“My Daily Prayers” is a FREE daily recording of prayers led by the bishops and priests of the Cleveland diocese and delivered each day directly to you via your email or through diocesan social media platforms. Each lasts about 7 minutes and allows you to reflect, pray and enter into a deeper, personal relationship with God. Sign up at: dioceseofcleveland.org/mydailyprayers
Pizza & Pumpkin Decorating 2023
A good time was had by all at our recent October 15th event. Many thanks go out to Lorie Papp, the Parish Activities Committee, Acme Stores, Rocco’s, Papa John’s, Papa-Roni’s & Marco’s Pizza restaurants. We have lots of fun-loving, creative people in our parish!

A visit from Mayor Horrigan
We received a call from Mayor Horrigan’s office letting us know that the Mayor wanted to come to the parish to present a proclamation honoring our 100th anniversary. WOW, what a surprise and an honor!! The Mayor along with Mr. Chris Ludle, Director of Public Service, and photographer Kyle Reynolds came on Wednesday, August 16th. The Mayor presented the proclamation, we presented him with one of our 100th anniversary cubes and a 100 Fun Facts booklet and then had him and Mr. Ludle sign our banner. The Mayor even took off his personal city lapel pin and presented it to Fr. Mike. The proclamation is on display under the hymn board so please come up to see it. Thank you, Mayor Horrigan!

Rubber Ducks outing
Although the Ducks came up short losing 2-0, it was a great night at the ball park! Thank you to all who came.
