The doors of Immaculate Conception of Mary Parish on 16th Street closed for the last time in the winter of 2026. But the century of faith that took root in a Kenmore orchard more than a hundred years ago does not close so easily.
This website exists to keep those memories alive. Here you will find photos and history from both the parish and the school, gathered as a testament to the blessings shared in this place. Whether you were a student there decades ago, a parishioner present for the final Mass, or simply someone whose life was shaped by this community, these pages are for you. While the collection reflects the materials currently available, there may be opportunities to add more stories from the community in the future.
The spirit of Immaculate Conception still has a presence in Kenmore today. The Kenmore Free Store continues to operate out of the old school building, providing for neighbors in need just as the parish always did. It stands as a reminder that the work of the Church never truly ends.
“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.” — Isaiah 40:8
The people of Immaculate Conception of Mary may be scattered now, but the faith they built together in Kenmore remains.
