On Friday, November 15th at the 46th Annual Bishop William Cosgrove Justice Dinner and Awards, parishioner Lorie Papp received the Faithful Servant Award from the Catholic Commission of Summit County for her work with our St. Vincent de Paul Society and her dedication to the parish and those we serve. Thanks to the generosity of our participants we were able to raise $1,630.00 this year towards the renovation of the space between Waldeisen Hall and the school building to be known as the Fr. Michael B. Smith Memorial Garden. Thank you for helping to make our dream come true.

On Tuesday, May 21st, the diocese honored priests observing their 60th, 50th, 40th and 25th anniversaries of ordination with Mass and luncheon at St. Basil the Great Parish in Brecksville. Fr. Mike is celebrating his 50th anniversary and the staff was there to support and celebrate with him. The Mass was beautiful and we were thrilled to have all four Bishops in attendance: Bishop Edward Malesic, Auxiliary Bishop Michael Woost, retired Bishop Roger Gries, OSB and Bishop Emeritus (Diocese of Davenport, Iowa) Martin Amos. Bishop Amos grew up in the Cleveland area and was an auxiliary Bishop in Cleveland before his appoint to Davenport.
Like the other parishes who are led by Parish Life Coordinators and have no priests, we are no longer able to offer daily Mass nor Confessions. Please visit these neighboring parishes: St. Augustine: Confessions 3 pm on Saturdays and Mondays at 6 pm. Weekday Masses on M, W, Th & F at 12:05 pm & Tues. at 5:15 pm. St. Francis de Sales: Confessions 9-9:45 am on Saturdays and Thursdays 5:30-6:15 pm. Weekday Mass M-F at 8:15 am & Th at 6: 30 pm. Thank you.
